N’Golo Kante has taken to social media to reveal his delight at helping Chelsea beat Middlesbrough on Sunday to move top of the Premier League table.

Diego Costa scored the only goal of the game in the 41st minute at the Riverside Stadium as Antonio Conte’s men secured a narrow win to continue their fine run of form.

The Blues are now one point clear at the top of the Premier League table after their impressive performances in recent weeks.

Chelsea had not been top of the table since the last time they won the Premier League title, back in the 2014-15 season.

And Kante was clearly delighted to play his part in Chelsea’s upturn in form on Sunday.

He shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Chelsea on top of the table after another great victory. Chelsea en tête du classement apres une nouvelle victoire. @chelseafc. Thanks for your support.”

Chelsea return to Premier League action next weekend with a clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
