Paul Pogba takes to social media to post a heartfelt message on the one-year anniversary of the Paris terror attacks
Paul Pogba has taken to social media to pay tribute to the victims of the Paris attacks on the one-year anniversary of the tragedy.
The Manchester United midfielder is currently on international duty with France as Didier Deschamps’ side prepare for their friendly clash against Ivory Coast next week.
Pogba was part of the France side playing at the Stade De France during the 2015 attacks in the French capital.
And the 23-year-old used his personal Instagram account to send a message to those affected by the tragic events one year ago.
Pogba posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “It’s one year since we were playing during the Paris attacks… my prayers for the victims and their families @equipedefrance #fiersdetrebleus #peace”
Pogba will be hoping to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Premier League action with a crunch clash against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The Red Devils – who finished fifth last term – are currently eight points behind leaders Liverpool and six points adrift of Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal side.
