The Arsenal signing delivers verdict on the Gunners' 3-1 win against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday

Shkodran Mustafi spoke of his delight that Arsenal’s hard work is paying off after their 3-1 win against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners eased into a first-half lead after Alexis Sanchez capitalised on a defensive error to break the deadlock at the Emirates Stadium.

However, Bournemouth levelled from the penalty spot after Nacho Monreal was adjudged to have brought down Callum Wilson inside the penalty area.

Arsenal restored their lead in the second half through Theo Walcott before Sanchez polished off their Premier League victory in style.

Mustafi started his tenth Premier League game against the Cherries in Sunday’s top-flight clash at the Emirates Stadium.

And the Germany international posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“🔙🔛🔝 3-1 home win! ⚽ A lot of hard work, but it all paid off in the end! 👌🏾 #ARSBOU #COYG #sm20 @arsenal”

Arsenal are back in action on Wednesday night when Arsene Wenger’s side host Premier League rivals Southampton in their EFL Cup quarter-final at The Emirates.
