The Chelsea manager is keeping tabs on some of his out-of-favour players ahead of the visit of Spurs next weekend

Antonio Conte was stand in the stands at Cobham as Chelsea’s out-of-favour players looked to impress the new manager on Monday afternoon.

The Italian’s summer signing Michy Batshuayi scored twice as Chelsea’s development side eased to a 3-2 victory over Southampton.

Conte watched on as Netherlands international Marco van Ginkel netted a late winner to seal a thrilling victory for the Blues.

Former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas also started alongside captain John Terry as the Spain international looked to kick-start his career under Conte.

The ex Juventus manager was sat in the stands alongside Brazil defender David Luiz and some of his Chelsea coaching staff to watch an entertaining game at Cobham.
