Rio Ferdinand reacts to Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Tottenham on Twitter

The former Manchester United defender has his say on Chelsea's 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur

Rio Ferdinand singled out Victor Moses for special praise after Chelsea’s 2-1 win against Tottenham in Saturday’s London derby at Stamford Bridge.

The north London side edged into a first half lead courtesy of Christian Eriksen’s 11th-minute strike at Stamford Bridge after a strong start from the visitors.

However, the Blues received a boost on the stroke of half-time after Spain international Pedro Rodriguez curled a finish past Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

The Premier League leaders edged into a second-half lead after Victor Moses finished from close range despite the efforts of Lloris and Jan Vertonghen on the goal-line.

And Manchester United legend Ferdinand provided his Twitter followers with an insight into how the BT Sport pundits were reacting as the goals went in at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea will make the trip to title rivals Manchester City in their next Premier League game at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Tottenham will host Swansea City in their next top-flight fixture at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
