Roy Keane delivers glowing verdict on Arsenal ahead of Tottenham
The former Manchester United captain has been impressed with Arsenal in recent weeks
Roy Keane says Arsenal are in a “good place” ahead of the visit of Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby at The Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners came from 2-0 down to ease to a 3-2 victory over Ludogorets in the Champions League on Tuesday night thanks to goals from Granit Xhaka, Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil.
Arsenal have scored 15 times in their last five games in all competitions, including an emphatic 4-1 win against the Premier League’s basement club Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon.
Arsene Wenger’s side are in second place in the Premier League table but level on points with leaders Manchester City ahead of the visit of their north London rivals this weekend.
Former Manchester United midfielder Keane admitted that Arsenal’s season is shaping up nicely as the Gunners look to maintain a 15-game unbeaten run at The Emirates on Sunday.
“Arsenal are in a good place at the moment. They’re in top form. They’re in good spirits. Olivier Giroud scoring a few goals. Aaron Ramsey is back. They’re doing well,” Keane told ITV Sport on Wednesday night.
Arsenal have won 12 of their last 15 games in all competitions.
