Thierry Henry delivers honest verdict on Arsenal after Man United draw

Thierry Henry has his say about Arsenal's title hopes after their 1-1 draw with Manchester United

Thierry Henry believes that Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United dealt a significant blow to the Gunners’ Premier League title hopes.

The north London side battled back to earn a point against the Red Devils at Old Trafford after falling behind to Juan Mata’s goal at Old Trafford.

Olivier Giroud came off the bench to score a late equaliser for Arsene Wenger’s men and earn them a point against their old foes.

Arsenal will be happy to have earned a point from a game in which they failed to click into gear.

However, former Arsenal star Henry feels that the north London side’s draw at Old Trafford is a negative result in terms of the title race.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the final whistle, Henry said: “I think that last year they would have lost the game playing that well.

“They’ve been scoring late goals. They were lacking a bit of everything but they saved a point.

“But do they want to win the title? That’s another way of seeing the game. If you’re talking about the title, maybe it’s not a great point.”

Arsenal return to Champions League action on Wednesday night with a crunch clash against Paris Saint-Germain at The Emirates.
