Thierry Henry reacts on Twitter to Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham

Thierry Henry was left disappointed on Sunday as Arsenal were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby.

Arsenal made the breakthrough in the 42nd minute after Kevin Wimmer glanced Mesut Ozil’s free-kick past Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris at the Emirates Stadium.

Harry Kane started his first Premier League game since a 1-0 win against Sunderland in September, and the England international levelled from the penalty spot after Laurent Koscielny brought down Tottenham midfielder Moussa Dembele.

Former Arsenal striker Henry was still feeling confident with 21 minutes remaining as he backed Olivier Giroud to score a winner from the bench after the France international replaced Theo Walcott.

However, Giroud couldn’t conjure a late winner as Arsene Wenger’s side settled for a point in a 1-1 draw with their bitter rivals.

Arsenal will make the trip to title rivals Manchester United in their next Premier League game at Old Trafford on Saturday 19 November.

Tottenham, on the other hand, will host London rivals West Ham United at White Hart Lane in the late kick-off on the Premier League’s return from the international break.
