Alexis Sanchez drops big hint about his future at Arsenal

Alexis Sanchez insists he is very happy at Arsenal amid the speculation about his future

Alexis Sanchez has insisted that he is very happy at Arsenal in his biggest indication yet that he will sign a new contract with the club.

The Chile international has earned a reputation as one of the Premier League’s top attacking talents since his arrival at the club from Barcelona in the summer of 2014.

Sanchez, like his team-mate Mesut Ozil, has 18 months left on his current contract with Arsenal and it remains to be seen whether the pair will commit their long-term futures to the north London club.

With their current deals ticking down, there has been plenty of speculation about both players’ futures at the club.

But Sanchez’s latest comments about his situation at Arsenal are likely to give Gunners fans hope that he will indeed commit to the north London side.

Speaking in an interview with Arsenal Player, Sanchez said: “I definitely feel like an important player and my teammates let me know every day.

“I try to prove that I am an important player every day and game after game.

“I feel really happy and comfortable at the club.”
