Alexis Sanchez finally breaks silence about his Arsenal future

Alexis Sanchez has his say about his future at Arsenal as his contract talks with the club continue

Alexis Sanchez has told Arsenal that his future depends on the club as his contract talks continue with the north London side.

The Chile international’s situation at The Emirates has been a relentless source of speculation in recent days as both he and Mesut Ozil recently entered into the final 18 months of their contracts at the club.

Sanchez has established himself as one of the Premier League’s top attacking players since his arrival at the club from Barcelona in the summer of 2014.

The 27-year-old is widely regarded as one of Arsenal’s most important players and Gunners fans will be desperate to see him commit his future to the club.

However, the Chilean has now explained that his future depends on the club as the contract negotiations continue.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Manchester City on Sunday, Sanchez said: “It doesn’t really depend on me so much as it does the club, if they want to show confidence in me.

“I’m very happy at the club, I love it here, I love all the staff, I love all the cooks, I love all the employees who work for us.

“I want to win and I want to achieve my objectives more for them, so I want to win the Premier League and the Champions League because thats what the club is missing.”
