Alexis Sanchez reveals that he would have loved to play alongside Thierry Henry for Arsenal

Alexis Sanchez has revealed that he would have loved to play alongside Thierry Henry for Arsenal.

The Chile international has earned a reputation as one of the Premier League’s top attacking players since his arrival at the club from Barcelona in the summer of 2014.

Sanchez has been in fine form for Arsenal this season and has already scored 12 goals and made six assists in the Premier League for Arsene Wenger’s men.

Henry is Arsenal’s all-time top goal-scorer and is widely regarded as one of the finest strikers to have ever played in the Premier League.

And Sanchez admits that he was a huge fan of Henry during his spell at Arsenal, admitting that he would have loved to have lined up alongside the Frenchman for the Gunners.

Sanchez is quoted as saying by The Daily Express: “I would like to have played with Henry.

“He could score, play one-twos with you, pass the ball, hold it… he had a huge repertoire and great vision too.

“I like playing with players with such a panoramic vision.”
