Alexis Sanchez: This is why I’m so energetic on the pitch for Arsenal

Alexis Sanchez lifts the lid on his performances for Arsenal and why he always is full of energy

Alexis Sanchez has insisted that there is no secret to his high energy levels for Arsenal on the pitch and says that it has always been his style of play.

The Chile international has earned a reputation as one of the Premier League’s top attacking talents since his arrival at Arsenal from Barcelona in the summer of 2014.

Sanchez has become known for his unrelenting and seemingly limitless energy levels on the pitch and he always seems to be one of Arsenal’s hardest-working players.

However, the 28-year-old insists that he is simply giving his all because he knows that footballers have short careers.

Speaking in an interview with Arsenal Player, Sanchez said: “I have always been like this. My career won’t last forever and I am aiming to be one of the best players in the world. I want to do my best and be professional until my career ends.

“I enjoy football a lot, I always wanted to be one of the best players in the world and I’ve been saying that since I was a little boy. I will slow down after I retire, but for the time being I will carry on like this.

“I just try to train well, sleep well and be professional at my job. There’s not much of a secret to it.”

Sanchez will be expecting to start for Arsenal when the Gunners take on West Brom on Boxing Day at The Emirates.
