Ander Herrera admits he is unsure about his Man United future

Ander Herrera discusses his future at Manchester United in the long term...

Ander Herrera has insisted that he will never take his place in the Manchester United team for granted.

The Spanish midfielder has established himself as a regular fixture in the Red Devils team this season following Jose Mourinho’s appointment as the club’s new manager back in May.

Herrera is a firm favourite amongst Manchester United fans and the Spaniard has been in good form for the Red Devils so far this term.

However, the midfielder concedes that he knows his place in the Manchester United side will never be guaranteed and has vowed to keep giving his best for the Red Devils.

Asked if he wants to stay at Manchester United long-term, Herrera is quoted as saying by The Daily Express: “Yes, but you never know.

“If I want to keep playing for United you have to play very well because United is the biggest club in England.

“The club has the capacity to bring any players here so you have to always be at your highest level if you want to keep playing for this club.

“It’s not easy but I hope I can and I will fight for it.”

The 27-year-old Herrera has made two assists in 14 Premier League games for Manchester United so far this season.
