Ander Herrera: I loved it when Man United boss Jose Mourinho did this

Ander Herrera loved to see Jose Mourinho celebrate Manchester United's win over Palace on the pitch with his players

Ander Herrera admitted that he thoroughly enjoyed celebrating Manchester United’s win at Crystal Palace on the pitch with Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese coach walked onto the pitch to celebrate last Wednesday’s 2-1 victory at Selhurst Park with his players after Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a late winner for Mourinho’s men.

It has been a testing start to the season for Manchester United and their players following Mourinho’s appointment as the club’s new manager back in May.

The Red Devils have struggled to produce consistent performances in the Premier League and are some way off the pace in the race for the title.

And Herrera admitted that he and his team-mates were thrilled to share in the joy of Wednesday night’s win at Selhurst Park.

Herrera was quoted as saying by Sports Mole: “You saw him. Even more in the dressing room, he is so passionate and thinks the same as us – that we deserve to have more points and that is why he was so happy.

“We are so happy because we showed our spirit, this was not our best game but even on a day where we didn’t play our best game we created six or seven chances.”

Manchester United’s next Premier League game is a home clash against Sunderland on Boxing Day.
