Andy Cole reacts to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s performance in Man United’s 2-0 win at West Brom

The former Manchester United striker lavishes praise on Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the striker's double

Andy Cole singled out Zlatan Ibrahimovic for special praise after Manchester United’s 2-0 win at West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Saturday evening.

Ibrahimovic broke the deadlock in the fifth minute to score in successive Premier League games after his header from Jesse Lingard’s cross.

The 35-year-old centre-forward scored his tenth goal in nine games to extend the away side’s lead in the second half.

The 20-time English champions signed Ibrahimovic in a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.

Former Manchester United striker Cole was full of praise for the club’s number nine after Ibrahimovic’s influential performance at The Hawthorns.

The former Sweden striker has played for AC Milan, Ajax, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Juventus during a decorated club career.

The summer signing has now scored 10 times in 17 Premier League appearances this season to leave him at the top of Manchester United’s goal-scoring charts.

The Red Devils will host Sunderland in their next Premier League game at Old Trafford on Boxing Day.
