Antonio Conte wants to sign Bundesliga man to bolster Chelsea defence – report
Chelsea are keen on Hoffenheim defender Niklas Sule to bolster their defensive options, according to ESPN
Chelsea are ready to make an offer for Hoffenheim defender Niklas Sule in the January transfer window, according to reports.
ESPN are reporting that Antonio Conte wants to reinforce his defensive options ahead of the second half of the 2016-17 Premier League season.
The same article states that the Blues are hoping to tempt Sule to Stamford Bridge after previously showing interest in the German defender.
However, the ESPN story claims that the Premier League leaders will face competition from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich for the promising centre-half.
Chelsea have won their last seven Premier League games to leave Conte’s side a point ahead of Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table.
The west London side kept six successive clean sheets before Christian Eriksen beat Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge last weekend before Pedro Rodriguez and Victor Moses sealed a 2-1 home win.
