Antonio Valencia takes to social media to wish Manchester United fans a Merry Christmas

Antonio Valencia looked like he enjoyed spending his Christmas at home ahead of Manchester United’s Boxing Day clash against Sunderland.

The Red Devils squad trained on Christmas Day as they geared up for their Premier League clash against the Black Cats at Old Trafford.

However, the Manchester United players were afforded some downtime on Christmas Day and Valencia looked to have made the most of his time off at home as he celebrated with his family.

Valencia shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Feliz Navidad. Happy Merry Christmas.”

Valencia is currently getting to grips with life under new manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford following the Portuguese coach’s appointment at the club back in May.

Mourinho was brought in as the successor to Louis van Gaal after the Dutchman was sacked and replaced with the former Chelsea boss back in May.

Manchester United finished fifth and won the FA Cup last season.
