Arsene Wenger replies when asked if Arsenal could sell Mesut Ozil

Arsene Wenger delivers the latest update on Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez's situations at Arsenal

Arsene Wenger has insisted that both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will see out their contracts with Arsenal even if they do not extend them.

Both Ozil and Sanchez’s futures at Arsenal have been the subject of speculation in recent weeks after the pair both entered into the final 18 months of their contracts with the club.

Arsenal are believed to be in talks with both players about the possibility of extending their current deals beyond the summer 2018.

If they do not agree new contacts with Arsenal, the north London club could risk losing them for free in the summer of 2018.

However, Wenger has insisted that both players will, at the very least, see out their current deals with the north London side.

Asked if Arsenal would listen to offers for Ozil, Wenger told a news conference on Thursday morning: “No matter what happens they will stay for 18 months and hopefully for much longer.”
