Arsene Wenger’s reply when asked if there’s more to come from Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal
Arsene Wenger is certain that there is still more to come from Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal
Arsene Wenger is convinced that there is still more to come from Alexis Sanchez for Arsenal, despite his stunning performances for the Gunners in recent weeks.
The Chilean once again proved his worth to the north London side when he hit a stunning second-half hat-trick in a sparkling man of the match display during the 5-1 win over West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday night.
Sanchez has been in superb form so far this season, with the 27-year-old having already hit 11 goals and notched up four assists in the Premier League.
The forward has established himself as one of the best attacking talents in the Premier League following his transfer to the club from Barcelona in the summer of 2014.
And Wenger believes there is still more to come from the Chilean.
Asked if he thinks there is still more to come from Sanchez, Wenger told Arsenal Player: “Honestly, yes.
“But if he maintains that kind of performance, I’m already happy!”
