Ray Parlour states prediction for Bournemouth v Liverpool
The Arsenal legend is confident Liverpool will avoid a slip up against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon
Ray Parlour is backing Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side to pick up another three points in the title race at Bournemouth on Sunday.
The Reds were 2-0 winners against Sunderland at Anfield last weekend courtesy of goals from Divock Origi and James Milner in the second half.
Liverpool haven’t lost a Premier League game since a 2-0 defeat at Burnley in their second fixture of the 2016-17 season.
The 18-time English champions are unbeaten in 11 Premier League fixtures, beating title rivals Arsenal and Chelsea during that run.
The Merseyside outfit will be facing a Bournemouth side that lost 3-1 to the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium last weekend.
Former Arsenal midfielder Parlour is backing Liverpool to collect another three points against the Cherries at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday.
“Liverpool are in great form whatever team they put out. Liverpool have been in such great form,” Parlour told the Alan Brazil Up Front podcast.
“Coutinho is a massive blow but they’ve still got excellent players: Firmino and Mane have been different class. They’ve still got Origi who has come off the bench and has scored goals. I can’t see Liverpool not getting at least a point. It’s probably a Liverpool win there for me.”
Liverpool finished in eighth place in the Premier League table last season after Klopp took over the reins from Brendan Rodgers back in October 2015.
The Reds were 2-0 winners against Championship side Leeds United in the EFL Cup quarter-final on Tuesday night.
