Cesc Fabregas issues Chelsea rallying cry ahead of Crystal Palace clash

Cesc Fabregas calls for focus as Chelsea prepare for their Premier League trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday

Cesc Fabregas has told Chelsea to keep their focus as the hectic festive period in the Premier League draws nearer.

The Spanish midfielder proved the difference on Wednesday night when he scored the Blues’ winner in their 1-0 victory over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

That victory was Chelsea’s 10th in a row in the Premier League under new boss Antonio Conte and moved the west London side six points clear at the top of the table.

The Blues have been in stunning form in recent weeks and have established themselves as the main contenders to win the Premier League title this season.

However, the 29-year-old Fabregas has warned his team-mates not to get carried away and to keep their focus at such a busy period of the season.

Fabregas is quoted as saying by The Daily Mirror: “We know that in this period of the year we can send a strong message and hopefully we can continue like this.”
