Chelsea have earned plenty of praise for their strong performances in recent weeks as Antonio Conte’s men lead the way at the top of the Premier League table.

The Blues underlined their status as genuine Premier League title contenders this season when they came from a goal down to beat Manchester City 3-1 at The Etihad on Saturday.

That win left them three points clear at the top of the table after 14 games of the new season.

However, Arsenal also looked impressive as they thrashed West Ham United 5-1 at the London Stadium on Saturday night to move to within three points of the Blues.

And former Chelsea star Nevin admits that both Arsenal and Spurs are looking like potential threats to the Blues in the title race.

Writing in his column for Chelsea’s website, Nevin said: “I would say that as just about everything seemed to go Chelsea’s way [last weekend], apart from Arsenal looking a tad ominous against West Ham and Spurs bouncing back against a sad-looking Swansea.”
