Conte delivers latest Chelsea injury update ahead of Man City clash
Antonio Conte gives little away about the team news ahead of Chelsea's trip to Manchester City on Saturday
Antonio Conte remained coy when quizzed for the latest team news ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Manchester City on Saturday lunchtime.
The Blues are preparing for their trip to the Etihad Stadium as they look to continue their fine form in the top flight.
Chelsea have won their last seven games on the spin in the top flight to leave them flying high at the top of the Premier League table, one point clear of second-placed Liverpool.
John Terry has been sidelined with a glute injury in recent games and Conte confirmed last weekend that the Blues captain is set to be sidelined for a number of weeks.
Willian made his return to action against Tottenham Hotspur and Cesc Fabregas is believed to be back available for selection once again.
However, the Chelsea boss was giving nothing away in terms of team news ahead of the Blues’ trip to Manchester City this weekend.
Speaking at his pre-match news conference at Stamford Bridge on Friday afternoon, Conte said: “At the moment, no [team news].
“We have to check the physical conditions of one or two players and then tomorrow to decide the line-up.”
Asked for further details, Conte smiled: “No, I prefer to keep this secret.”
