Ian Wright states prediction for Crystal Palace v Chelsea

The Arsenal legend can't see past a Chelsea victory at Crystal Palace

Ian Wright is backing Chelsea to ease to an eleventh successive Premier League victory on Saturday afternoon when Antonio Conte’s side make the trip to Crystal Palace.

The west London side were 1-0 winners against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday night thanks to Cesc Fabregas’ first-half winner upon the midfielder’s return to the starting line-up.

Chelsea haven’t lost a Premier League game since a 3-0 loss to title rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in September.

The Blues have managed to hoist themselves to the top of the Premier League table and are six points clear of their closest rivals Liverpool and Arsenal in the title race.

Chelsea have scored 24 goals and have kept eight clean sheets in their last 10 Premier League victories.

Speaking on The Sun Goals podcast ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Palace on Saturday afternoon, former Arsenal striker Wright is backing the west London side to ease to victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

“Against Manchester United and Chelsea, that’s where we’re thinking Palace are going to struggle – and they have to be honest,” Wright said.

Asked if Chelsea will win, Wright added: “I think Chelsea are [going to win]. I really do.”
