Michael Owen states his prediction for Crystal Palace v Man United

Michael Owen is backing Manchester United to make it back to back wins in the Premier League by beating Crystal Palace

Michael Owen is tipping Manchester United to make it back to back wins in the Premier League with a victory over Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils head into the game at Selhurst Park fresh from their 1-0 win over Tottenham at Old Trafford on Sunday.

That result was a welcome relief for Jose Mourinho, whose side had only won two of their last 11 top-flight games heading into Sunday’s fixture at Old Trafford.

United will now be keen to string a series of positive results together and start to claw their way back into the race for a top-four finish in the Premier League.

The Red Devils will take on Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace side in London on Wednesday night.

And former Manchester United striker Owen is tipping the visitors to claim all three points against the Eagles.

Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “A repeat of the FA Cup Final, which United won earlier in the year, and the Eagles have yet to beat United in the Premier League after 14 previous attempts.

“Alan Pardew’s side have been involved in some crazy games of late and have to improve defensively if they don’t want to get embroiled in a relegation battle.

“United may have to be patient but I can see them following up their win against Spurs at the weekend.”
