David De Gea warns his Manchester United team-mates that they must be at their best if they want to beat Palace

David De Gea has warned his Manchester United team-mates that they must be at their best if they want to beat Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils head into the game looking to make it back to back wins in the Premier League following their 1-0 victory over Tottenham at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

Jose Mourinho will be keen to see his side embark on a winning run in the Premier League as they look to claw themselves back into the race for a top-four finish.

Wednesday’s game marks the start of the hectic festive schedule in the Premier League for Mourinho’s men, with the Red Devils set to travel to West Brom on Saturday.

And De Gea has warned that he and his team-mates will have to be at their best if they want to claim a positive result at Selhurst Park on Wednesday night.

Speaking in an interview with MUTV, De Gea said: “It’s not an easy game.

“They score in almost every game and have good players going forward, like [Christian] Benteke, [Wilf] Zaha and [Andros] Townsend.

“They are a good team and we’ll need to play really good football to beat them.”
