Eden Hazard looked to be in good spirits as he joined Michy Batshuayi and a host of his other Chelsea team-mates to spread some festive cheer at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
The Chelsea squad visited some young patients at the hospital and posed for pictures and handed out gifts as they helped to raise the spirits of the youngsters and their families.
Batshuayi posted the pictures above of himself posing for a snap with the likes of Hazard, Kurt Zouma, Nemanja Matic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek on his personal Instagram account.
The summer signing wrote the caption: “Always happy to give kids a smile !! Great day at westminster hospital today with the team we had a lot of fun !! 😙😘 #givingback @chelseafc”
It remains to be seen whether Batshuayi will be handed his first start of the Premier League season on Monday when Chelsea host Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are set to be without star striker Diego Costa and midfielder N’Golo Kante due to suspension, prompting suggestions that the Belgian forward could start up front for Antonio Conte’s men on Boxing Day.
Chelsea head into that game flying high at the top of the Premier League table and six points clear of second-placed Liverpool.
