Eden Hazard makes bold claim about Chelsea under Antonio Conte
Eden Hazard says this is the best Chelsea team he has every played in at Stamford Bridge
Eden Hazard has claimed that the current Chelsea team is the best Blues side he has ever played in.
The Belgian playmaker has been in fine form for the west London club this season and has been a regular fixture in Antonio Conte’s starting line-up.
The 25-year-old has begun to show glimpses of the kind of form which won him the PFA player of the year award in the 2014-15 season.
Hazard once again found the net as Chelsea beat Bournemouth 3-0 at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day to stretch their winning run in the Premier League to 12 games.
The Blues are flying high at the top of the Premier League table and are six points clear of Liverpool heading into 2017.
Asked if this is the best Chelsea team he has played in, Hazard told Sky Sports: “Yes, because we win every game! We are full of confidence.
“We try to do something that we didn’t do in the past. We score some goals.”
Chelsea finished 10th and without a trophy in the Premier League last season after a campaign to forget for the Blues.
