Eric Bailly has taken to social media to thank Manchester United’s fans for their messages of support after he was injured in Wednesday’s win at Crystal Palace.

The Ivorian was substituted in the 52nd minute at Selhurst Park as Jose Mourinho’s men made it back to back wins in the top flight with a 2-1 victory over Palace thanks to goals from Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Bailly had only just returned from a knee injury which had kept him out of action for a number of weeks, and it remains to be seen how serious his latest setback will turn out to be.

However, the 22-year-old defender was clearly buoyed by the messages of support from Manchester United’s fans in the wake of Wednesday’s game.

Bailly posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “+3! Great win!! 🔴

“Thank you for the messages of support. 🙏🏾 +3 ! belle victoire !! Merci pour tous vos messages. 🙏🏾”
