Eric Bailly sends message to Man United fans about his future

Eric Bailly insists that he is truly happy with how his start at Manchester United has unfolded

Eric Bailly has insisted that he is “truly happy” at Manchester United following his summer transfer to the club from Villarreal.

The Ivory Coast defender was Jose Mourinho’s first signing at Old Trafford following the Portuguese coach’s appointment as the club’s new boss back in May.

Bailly has earned plenty of praise for the speed at which he has adapted to life in England following his move to Old Trafford.

The 22-year-old has made 11 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils and has missed a portion of the campaign with a knee injury.

Bailly looks set to develop into a top player for the Red Devils and the Ivorian has revealed his delight with how his start to life at Manchester United has unfolded.

Bailly is quoted as saying by The Daily Express: “He’s a great manager, the best in the world, it is a pleasure to work and learn with him.

“I hope it continues like this and that I stay at United for a long time.

“I’m truly happy, with my team and my team-mates. Bit by bit, I’m getting to know more.”
