Former Man City defender: I can clearly see Man United challenging in top four

Danny Mills talks up Manchester United in the Premier League's top-four race

Danny Mills is confident that Manchester United can challenge for a top-four spot this season.

The Red Devils recorded back-to-back Premier League victories on Wednesday night after Manchester United were 2-1 winners against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a late winner after Scotland international James McArthur cancelled out Paul Pogba’s opener in the English capital.

Jose Mourinho’s side managed to notch up successive top-flight wins for the first time since August after Manchester United were 1-0 winners against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

The Red Devils headed into the weekend’s Premier League football in sixth place and six points behind fourth-placed Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola’s side could drop points against Arsenal as the title rivals face-off at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ ahead of Manchester United’s trip to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon, former City defender Mills talked up Mourinho’s men in the title race.

“They’re starting to look a little bit better. You’re looking at games and thinking ‘I fancy Manchester United to win this’. I think they’ll go on a bit of a run now. I can quite clearly see them challenge the top four come the end of the season,” Mills said.
