The Swedish striker gave the visitors the lead in the 43rd minute when he lobbed the ball over the on-rushing Maarten Stekelenburg with what was the first shot on target in the game.
The ball bounced off the crossbar and the post before eventually creeping over, with the goal-line technology system confirming that the ball had just crossed the line.
It was a bizarre opening goal because there appeared to be no need for Stekelenburg to rush so far off his line.
And Lineker was very surprised to see the goalkeeper so keen to leave his line.
The former England striker tweeted:
Lovely finish from Ibrahimovic but why do Keepers come out under those circumstances? Creating a chance for the striker out of nothing.

Meanwhile, Manchester United legend Andy Cole was simply delighted to see Ibrahimovic give the Red Devils the lead.
He tweeted:
Zlatan with the lob… Questionable keeping! 1-0 @ManUtd 👊🏾

It ended up being a very frustrating afternoon for the Red Devils after Leighton Baines scored a penalty to earn a point for the home side.
Ibrahimovic has now scored eight Premier League goals in his first season at the club following his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
