The Swedish striker has been in good form for the Red Devils since arriving at the club from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in the summer and has been a regular fixture in the starting line-up.

Ibrahimovic nodded home Jesse Lingard’s excellent cross to give Jose Mourinho’s men the lead in the fifth minute at The Hawthorns.

The goal was the 35-year-old’s 10th of the season in the top flight as he continued his strong displays.

And Lineker was quick to tweet after Ibrahimovic fired United into the lead at The Hawthorns.

He tweeted:

Former Manchester United defender Phil Neville also chimed in:

Ibrahimovic then made it 2-0 to United in the 55th minute with a deflected shot as he notched up his 11th Premier League goal of the season.

It was the Swedish striker’s 10th goal in nine games for Manchester United.

And Lineker had some more praise for the striker after his second goal:

The win was Manchester United’s third in a row in the Premier League, and left them three points behind fourth-placed Manchester City ahead of the Citizens’ clash with Arsenal on Sunday.
