Gary Lineker trolls David Moyes after Man United’s 3-1 win over Sunderland

The Tottenham legend can't resist a cheeky joke at David Moyes' expense after Manchester United's 3-1 win

Gary Lineker couldn’t resist a cheeky tweet at David Moyes’ expense after Manchester United’s 3-1 victory over Sunderland at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Red Devils eased into a first-half lead against their former manager thanks Daley Blind’s first goal of the 2016-17 Premier League season.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic heaped misery on the ex-Manchester United boss after the former Sweden international extended the home side’s lead in the second half.

Jose Mourinho’s summer signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored his third Manchester United goal of his career so far to seal three points in the closing minutes.

Former Tottenham striker Lineker sent out a funny tweet to celebrate a rare win for Moyes at Old Trafford after the Scot’s disappointing 11-month reign between 2012 and 2013.

Manchester United hoisted themselves level on points with fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur ahead of Spurs’ clash against Southampton on Wednesday evening.
