Gary Neville makes big prediction about Man United’s January transfer business
Gary Neville reckons Manchester United could splash the cash in the January transfer window
Gary Neville has revealed that he is expecting to see Manchester United splash the cash in the January transfer window.
The Red Devils were one of the busiest clubs in the summer transfer window as they brought in a number of new players including the likes of Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic following the appointment of Jose Mourinho.
There is bound to be plenty of speculation in the coming days and weeks about who Manchester United could potentially sign in the January transfer window.
Manchester United legend Neville feels that the Red Devils should be confident going into their next four games but reckons that Mourinho could make some further additions in January.
Speaking to Sky Sports on Sunday night, Neville said: “It’s a pretty good run [in the next four games]. Sunderland and Middlesbrough at home, away at West Ham and then a simple one at Liverpool!
“I think Jose Mourinho will want to do big business in the next couple of transfer windows.
“I think to shift the mentality of the whole squad he’ll still need to do some more [business].”
Manchester United finished fifth and won the FA Cup last season.
Mourinho watched his team notch up their third win in a row in the Premier League on Saturday night with a 2-1 victory over West Brom.
