Gary Neville predicts where Tottenham will finish in title race

The Manchester United midfielder doesn't expect Tottenham Hotspur to win the Premier League title

Gary Neville has backed Tottenham Hotspur to finish in fourth or fifth place in the Premier League table this season.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have managed to steady the ship in recent weeks after losing to title rivals Chelsea and Manchester United in back-to-back away games.

Tottenham have beaten Hull City and Burnley in their last two Premier League fixtures at White Hart Lane to put pressure on the top four.

In fact, Pochettino’s side are a point behind Arsenal after Arsene Wenger’s side lost to Everton and Manchester City over the past week.

The Lilywhites finished in third place in the Premier League table last term after challenging Leicester City for the title throughout most of the 2015-16 season.

However, former Manchester United defender Neville doesn’t expect Tottenham to end their wait for a first Premier League title this term.

Asked to predict where Tottenham will finish during a question and answer session on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon, Neville replied:

Tottenham signed five players in the summer transfer window as Pochettino looked to turn his squad into title winners.
