Gary Neville reveals who he wants to win the title if Man United fall short

The Manchester United legend is rooting for Arsenal in the title race if Jose Mourinho's men fall short

Gary Neville has revealed that he would like Arsenal to win the Premier League crown if Manchester United fall short in the title race.

The Red Devils are in sixth place in the Premier League table and 13 points behind leaders Chelsea after 17 games in the 2016-17 season so far.

Chelsea were 1-0 winners against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon to secure their 11th successive Premier League victory at Selhurst Park.

Manchester United managed to close the gap on their title rivals with a 2-0 win against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Saturday evening.

Arsenal were on Chelsea’s coattails until a disappointing week or so in the Premier League following back-to-back defeats by Everton and Manchester City.

Arsene Wenger’s men are nine points behind leaders Chelsea after their 2-1 loss at the Etihad Stadium at the weekend.

However, Neville is still hoping that Arsenal can win the Premier League crown if Manchester United are unable to haul themselves into title contention.
