Granit Xhaka seems to be in a good mood ahead of Arsenal's trip to West Ham United on Saturday

Granit Xhaka looked to be in good spirits as he posed for a selfie before heading to Arsenal training on Friday morning.

The Switzerland midfielder will be hoping to feature for the north London club when the Gunners take on West Ham United in the Premier League at the London Stadium on Saturday night.

Xhaka will be aiming to help the Gunners return to winning ways after their disappointment of their League Cup exit at the hands of Southampton in midweek.

Arsenal head into the game against the Hammers trailing Premier League leaders Chelsea by three points.

And Xhaka, 24, seemed to be in high spirits as he snapped a selfie in his car ahead of Arsenal training on Friday morning.

Xhaka posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Wish you all a nice day👌! ★★★ ⚓#GX29 @Arsenal #WILL #UnderArmour”
