Harry Redknapp comments on Arsenal and Chelsea’s title hopes

Harry Redknapp gives his take on Arsenal and Chelsea's Premier League title hopes this season

Harry Redknapp believes that Arsenal and Chelsea are leading the way in the Premier League title race along with Tottenham and Liverpool this season.

Arsenal continued their good form in the Premier League when they came from a goal down to beat Stoke City 3-1 at The Emirates on Saturday afternoon.

Chelsea then stretched their winning run to nine games in the top flight when they secured a 1-0 win over West Brom at Stamford Bridge thanks to Diego Costa’s goal in the second half.

The Blues are now considered the favourites to win the title after their superb form under new manager Antonio Conte.

And although Manchester United were 1-0 winners over Tottenham at Old Trafford on Sunday, former Spurs boss Redknapp feels that the London clubs along with Liverpool are leading the chase.

Speaking to BT Sport after Chelsea’s win over West Brom, Redknapp said: “At the start of the season, the two Manchester clubs were probably favourites.

“At the moment, they probably look like the two outsiders in the big six.

“Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool look more likely than the two Manchester clubs [to win the title] at this particular time.”
