Harry Redknapp: This Chelsea star is fantastic, he’s almost unplayable

Harry Redknapp has been very impressed by Diego Costa's form for Chelsea

Harry Redknapp has heaped praise on Diego Costa following the Spanish striker’s sparkling start to the season with Chelsea.

Costa once again proved to be the hero on Sunday afternoon as he struck the only goal of the game in Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge.

The win means that Chelsea have now won their last nine games on the spin in the Premier League to leave the Blues three points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table.

Costa has been in superb form this term and scored his 12th Premier League goal of the season against the Baggies.

And former Tottenham manager Redknapp believes that Costa is beginning to show the kind of form that helped to inspire Chelsea to the Premier League title in the 2014-15 campaign.

Speaking on BT Sport on Sunday, Redknapp said: “It took that man [Costa] who has been in absolutely fantastic form.

“What an amazing goal, absolutely superb. He’s almost unplayable at the moment. He’s in great form. He’s back to the player we saw the year before last.

“He’s so aggressive, but he’s channelled it now. He’s a fantastic striker, he could win the golden boot this year.”
