Hazard hails great start to Tottenham run ahead of Man United clash

Micky Hazard is hoping Tottenham Hotspur can go on a decent run in the Premier League

Micky Hazard is hoping Tottenham Hotspur’s 5-0 victory over Swansea City will be the starting of a good run for Spurs in the Premier League.

The Lilywhites had only managed to win one of their last six Premier League games ahead of the visit of the Swans on Saturday afternoon.

However, Tottenham responded to their 2-1 loss to leaders Chelsea last weekend with a landslide victory over Bob Bradley’s struggling Swansea outfit.

Harry Kane scored twice in the opening 49 minutes along with Son Heung-min to give Tottenham a commanding 3-0 lead at White Hart Lane.

Denmark international Christian Eriksen scored in successive Premier League weekends with a close-range finish in the 70th minute.

The former Ajax midfielder netted his second of the afternoon to seal a 5-0 win and move to within three points of fourth-placed Manchester City.

Ex Tottenham star Hazard took to Twitter to reflect on the north London outfit’s 5-0 victory over Swansea.

Tottenham will make the trip to title rivals Manchester United in their next Premier League game on Saturday 11 December.
