Hector Bellerin sends message to Mesut Ozil after Arsenal draw Bayern Munich in Champions League

The Arsenal defender is hoping Mesut Ozil and the rest of the Gunners team can replicate their win over Bayern in October 2015

Hector Bellerin has challenged Mesut Ozil and Arsenal to replicate their impressive win over Bayern Munich in their last meeting at The Emirates after the Gunners were pitted against the Bundesliga giants in Monday’s Champions League draw.

The north London side managed to finish top of Champions League Group A after Arsenal’s stunning 4-1 win against Basel in their final group game last week, while Paris Saint-Germain drew 2-2 with Bulgarian side Ludogorets in the French capital.

However, the Gunners were still handed a tough draw despite finishing top of their group after being handed a tough trip to the Allianz Arena in the first leg of the last-16 clash.

Arsenal lost to the Bundesliga holders in the round of 16 in 2013 and 2014 – Arsene Wenger’s side haven’t reached the Champions League quarter-finals since 2010.

However, the Gunners were 2-0 winners against Bayern in the group stage at the Emirates Stadium last season thanks to goals from Olivier Giroud and Ozil.

And Bellerin is hoping the Gunners can repeat that performance when they take on Bayern for a place in the last eight.
