Ian Wright admits Alexis Sanchez worry after Arsenal’s 2-1 loss at Man City
The Arsenal legend is worried about Alexis Sanchez's future
Ian Wright took to Twitter to show his concern about Alexis Sanchez’s future after Arsenal lost 2-1 at Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
The north London side made a bright start to the Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium after Theo Walcott broke the deadlock in the fifth minute.
However, the visitors were unable to build upon their impressive start despite having a number of chances to test Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.
The Citizens were level in the second half after summer signing Leroy Sane scored his first Premier League goal in the 47th minute on Eastlands.
England international Raheem Sterling edged the home side into a second-half lead with a close-range finish with 19 minutes remaining.
Sanchez struggled to have an impact against the Citizens as the Chile international’s long-term future remains up in the air amid ongoing contract negotiations.
Former Arsenal striker Wright appeared to express his concern that Sanchez could be contemplating his future at the Gunners after a disappointing race in the title race.
Oh god what's he thinking 😳 pic.twitter.com/ah33Ab04aL
