Ian Wright gives blunt reaction to Arsenal’s 2-1 loss at Man City on Twitter

The Arsenal legend wasn't happy with the Gunners' 2-1 defeat at Manchester City

Ian Wright took to Twitter to vent his frustrations at Arsene Wenger’s players after Arsenal lost 2-1 at Manchester City at The Etihad on Sunday evening.

The Gunners eased into a first-half lead courtesy of Theo Walcott’s close-range finish to put the north London side into a slender lead against their title rivals.

However, Wenger’s men were unable to extend their lead despite a dominant performance in the opening 45 minutes.

And Manchester City were level after half-time following Leroy Sane’s first Premier League goal following his big-money move from Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04.

England international Raheem Sterling handed the hosts a 2-1 lead with a close-range finish to secure three points against their title rivals at the Etihad Stadium.

Former Arsenal striker Wright was clearly unhappy with the Gunners’ performance after their 2-1 defeat at Manchester City.

Arsenal finished in second place in the Premier League table but 10 points adrift of champions Leicester City.

The Gunners are nine points behind leaders Chelsea.
