Insider delivers latest update on Chelsea transfer targets in January
Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli delivers the latest transfer news about Chelsea's reported January targets
Chelsea will fail in a bid to sign Radja Nainggolan from Roma next month and will then turn their attentions towards landing Arturo Vidal, according to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli.
The Blues are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming days and weeks as the January transfer window draws ever nearer.
Chelsea have been touted as a possible destination for Belgian midfielder Nainggolan and have been linked with a bid for the player in the January transfer window by The Times (via Metro) in recent days.
However, Italian journalist Giulianelli has suggested that Chelsea will be rebuffed in their attempts to land the Belgium international, which will prompt them to turn their attentions to signing Chile international Vidal from Bayern Munich.
Roma will answer no to Chelsea's €60mln offer for Nainggolan. Conte then will go on Vidal from Bayern, for an amount around €45mln #CFC
