Arsenal have met with Julian Draxler’s representatives ahead of a potential January move from Wolfsburg, according to journalist Emanuele Giulianelli.
Italian journalist Giulianelli, speaking in an interview with Proper Sport, has revealed that Arsenal have held talks with Draxler’s representatives but the Gunners look likely to fall short of Wolfsburg’s valuation of the player.
Giulianelli has also confirmed that both Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing the 23-year-old next month.
The Gunners have been touted as a possible destination for the Germany international amid suggestions that he is keep to quit the Bundesliga side in the January transfer window.
However, the latest reports have suggested that Paris Saint-Germain are now leading the race for Draxler, with The Sun claiming last week that the French champions have agreed to pay £38m to Wolfsburg to sign the playmaker.
Arsenal are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table and nine points behind leaders Chelsea heading into the Boxing Day round of fixtures.
