Jamie Carragher praised Liverpool for a good win after the club legend watched the Reds ease to a 4-1 win against Stoke City at Anfield on Tuesday night.

Jurgen Klopp’s side moved to within six points of Premier League leaders Chelsea after coming from behind to beat the Potters at Anfield following Jonathan Walters’ opener.

Lallana cancelled out the Republic of Ireland international’s header with a close-range finish from an acute angle before Roberto Firmino edged Liverpool into a first-half lead before the break.

Giannelli Imbula netted a second-half own goal before Daniel Sturridge completed a comfortable Premier League win with his first top-flight goal of the 2016-17 campaign.

And Carragher posted the above snap with his son after the Champions League winner watched the Merseyside outfit ease to a 4-1 victory over the Potters to bolster their title hopes.

Carragher wrote on Instagram: “Dad & Lad night at Anfield with the Xmas coats on! Great win Red Men ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️ #LFC”

Liverpool are in second place in the table in their quest to win a first Premier League title.
