Jamie Carragher reacts to Chelsea’s 3-1 win at Man City on Twitter

The Liverpool legend delivers his verdict on Chelsea's 3-1 win at Manchester City

Jamie Carragher took to Twitter to express his delight at a fascinating top of the table clash after Chelsea’s 3-1 win against Manchester City at The Etihad.

The Blues travelled to Manchester looking to extend their winning run to eight Premier League games on Saturday afternoon after recording impressive victories over Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks.

The west London side fell behind in the first half through Gary Cahill’s own goal but Antonio Conte’s side showed character to respond after half-time and secure three valuable points in the title race.

Diego Costa cancelled out Cahill’s own goal with his 11th Premier League strike of the 2016-17 season before Willian completed a brilliant counter-attacking move to edge the visitors ahead in the 70th minute.

The Blues polished off an impressive victory at the home of their title rivals in the closing minutes as Eden Hazard made it 3-1 to secure an incredible eighth straight Premier League win.

And Liverpool legend Carragher took to Twitter to post his thoughts on the fascinating Premier League clash.
