Jamie Carragher sends warning to Chelsea in the title race

Jamie Carragher warns Chelsea that their incredible Premier League run will come to an end at some point

Jamie Carragher has bluntly warned Chelsea that their brilliant Premier League run will come to an end at some point.

The Blues have been in stunning form so far this season and are currently flying high at the top of the table after establishing themselves as the favourites to win the title.

Chelsea notched up their 11th win in a row in the Premier League on Saturday when they beat Crystal Palace 1-0 thanks to Diego Costa’s first half winner.

Antonio Conte’s men are now six points clear at the top of the Premier League table heading into Christmas.

The Blues will take on Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day as they look to continue their superb form in the top flight.

However, Carragher feels that it is only a matter of time before Chelsea run comes to an end, but warned the Blues’ rivals that they cannot afford to let the west London club pull too far out in front.

Speaking on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, Carragher said: “The run that they’re on is fantastic but it will come to an end.
