Jamie Redknapp tipping Premier League star striker to sign for Man United
Jamie Redknapp believes that Harry Kane could end up being a Manchester United player in the future
Jamie Redknapp is tipping Manchester United to sign Harry Kane in the future.
The England striker endured an afternoon to forget at Old Trafford on Sunday as he failed to find the net in Tottenham’s 1-0 loss to the Red Devils.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored the only goal of the game in the first half at Old Trafford as the Red Devils returned to winning ways in the Premier League and closed the gap on Tottenham down to three points.
Kane has been linked with Manchester United in the past, but the striker committed his future to Spurs recently when he signed a new contract with the White Hart Lane side.
However, former Spurs midfielder Redknapp believes that Kane could end up signing for Manchester United in the years to come.
Speaking to Sky Sports after Sunday’s games, Redknapp said: “I’d rather have him (Kane) in my team than Zlatan. It’s not even a question.
“He offers a lot more for his team. He is a player in a few years you could see wearing the number nine shirt for United.”
Manchester United finished fifth and won the FA Cup under Louis van Gaal last season.
The Red Devils are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table.
